1969 Triumph TR6 2500 PI 150 BHP Manual / Overdrive CP Chassis U.K Car. Rare Launch Year TR6. Mimosa Yellow with black leather upholstery and a black mohair hood and tonneau cover. This fantastic TR6 was totally restored in 2010 and a photographic folder shows the extent of the work carried out and the thousands spent on the rebuild. The cylinder head converted to unleaded. New injectors were fitted, new oil pump and a new Borg and Beck clutch. It has a J type gearbox with overdrive on 3rd and 4th. New suspension and poly bushed throughout this is a very well sorted car. Once finished the car was kept in outstanding condition and no expense was spared on the upkeep. In 2017/18 the car was entrusted to renowned Triumph specialist Chic Doig Sportscars to go through the car and carry out any work required, this included a full engine rebuild as well as many other jobs and we have invoices on file for £10800.00 covering this work. Most recent work was carried out in December 2020 and this included a new rear differential assembly and mounting kit with an invoice for £1530.00. Just as you would expect from a car of this quality the condition speaks for itself with the underside of the car equally as impressive as the top. On the road the TR comes into its own and is an absolute delight to drive. A fantastic engine with great power delivery and a correctly operating overdrive gearbox.
