1968 Triumph TR5 2500 Pi. Wedgewood Blue with Blue Ambla upholstery and matching Surrey top. When Michelotti's sharp-suited new TR4 was unveiled at the London Motor Show in 1961, the car looked thoroughly modern, especially when compared with the venerable TR3A that it replaced. However, the reality was that under the skin, the car was still very much a TR3A as little more than the outer skin was actually new. Despite this, the TR4 and the TR4A that succeeded it were amongst the fastest affordable sports cars on offer throughout the 1960s. Cheap to buy and run, the cars' road manners however left a little room for improvement, despite the TR4 having gained rack and pinion steering, wider front and rear tracks to make it more sure-footed, and an all-synchro gearbox. However, as stylish transport, they were pretty much unbeatable. All it cried out for, to compete with the new wave of GT saloons was more power. Lots more. The stock 2-litre GT6 engine was tried and, although smooth, was actually no quicker than the old tractor-derived four-pot. The answer was simple though – enlarge the straight-six by a massive 500cc to give a lusty 2.5-litres and help it breathe a little easier. Wi..

Based on the Silver Shadow II, the Silver Spirit and its long-wheelbase counterpart, the Silver Spur, were announced in the autumn of 1980. A Sony CD player with remote is a lovely period feature in the car as are the upgraded Leven metal stalks, handbrake and pedals. 1994 Bentley Turbo R Series III. Finished in Ebony Black Metallic with Parchment Hide and black piping. Black carpets piped in Parchment with picnic tables fitted to the rear. The Bentley Turbo R was very much a development of the Mulsanne before it - but the changes it made were substantial enough to really reinvigorate the company's image. 1972 NG TF 1800cc manual overdrive. Nautic Blue with tan upholstery a black hood, full tonneau and side screens. NG Cars was founded in 1979 by vehicle and aeronautical design engineer Nick Green and based in New Milton, Hants. He began his career with Associated Engineers; a large manufacturer of car components and throughout his life had an interest in car re-construction. Over a period of nine months he developed his first NG model TA which appeared in Motor Sport in October 1979. This car went some way toward honouring the Aston Martin International of the 1930s. The TA was a huge success and Nick was immediately spurred on to design the car he would really like to own. The result was the TC that appeared in V8 form in 1981. In 1983 the 2+2 TD appeared in response to customer demand for a more practical NG, and, later in the same year it appeared with the elegant flowing wings that created the TF. Based upon MGB running gear fitted to a bespoke cruciform chassis, NGs were a well engineered, beautifully constructed kit that gave a new lease of life to many rusting donor cars which, by the 1980s, were easy to find. Over 1000 NG cars have been constructed in various formats and wi..
1967 MG Midget MK III 1275cc. Tartan Red with black upholstery and black hood and tonneau. The MG Midget car revived the Midget moniker first seen with MG M Type Midget of the late 1920’s. It was based upon the successful Austin Healey (Frog Eye) Sprite but with significant body changes and similar Sprite versions continued alongside until 1971. During its life significant changes occurred including engine capacities rising from 948cc to 1493cc, with the most prolific being the 1275cc engined versions. The 1275cc BMC A series engine delivering a nominal 65 bhp was fitted between 1966 and 1974. This provided the car with brisk performance for the period allied to very nimble handling that made the car a very quick A to B car, on roads that were still mainly single carriageway with plenty of twists. The 1275 engine when originally introduced to the Midget was a leading edge engine, and was very similar to that which was powering the legendary Cooper S to many sporting victories. This also meant that there was a huge reserve of untapped performance potential that many owners were keen to exploit. This is something that continues to today. This lovely Midget has been well maintained ..
