1973 Triumph TR6 PI 150 BHP Manual / Overdrive. Right Hand Drive Home Market U.K car. Mallard Blue with Grey Ambla upholstery with a black hard top and black soft top. Built on the 5th September 1972 and despatched on the 17th October to Henleys Limited in Manchester. According to the accompanying Heritage Certificate the specification included Disc wheels, Overdrive, Heater, Static seat belts and 165-15 Dunlop SP Sport tyres. The car was purchased brand new by Mr Arthur Greaves of Oldham on 4th January 1972 and he kept the car for 6 years. The car changed hands a few times until 2002 when the last owner acquired it and proceeded to keep it for 19 years. The large history file contains copies of V5's for all 6 owners throughout its life and a stack of old MOT's back to 1977 to back up the low mileage of just 67,000. There are also lots of bills and invoices for work carried out over the years including a unleaded head conversion. The car was subject to a bare shell restoration before the last keeper purchased it and there are photographs on file of the re-build. The last owner is an active member of the TR Register and the car is well known to them and has been loved and cherished and is only being sold due to the purchase of a TR5. The TR6 also comes complete with a removable hard top which is a nice accessory to have. On the drive to photograph the car it performed very well with a strong engine, good oil pressure and working overdrive. We think that because this is a low mileage right hand drive U.K car with a hard top it makes it very desirable and well worth a look.
