1969 Triumph Herald 1500. Burgundy with red leather upholstery. This wonderful Herald was supplied by W. T. Richards of Bexleyheath on 2nd April 1969 to Miss Joyce Linnard. We still have the original order form in the history file and the cost was £784 on the road. The car has now covered just 54,000 miles from new and this is backed up by a huge history file containing bills, invoices and old mot certificates dating back to 1969 when the car was new as well as the original service book and owners handbook. The Triumph remained in long term ownership by very few owners up until 2016 when the most recent keeper embarked on a restoration program. The car has had several upgrades during the rebuild which include the upgrade to a Triumph 1500 engine, a beautiful body restoration and stunning repaint in burgundy. A new leather interior was fitted along with carpets, mats and door cards as well as a new veneer dashboard and door capping. A set of knock on wire wheels complete the look of this very pretty car.
