DESCRIPTION

1935 Standard 12 Deluxe Saloon. Burgundy over black with tan leather upholstery. Lots of money has been spent on this lovely Standard over the last few years with subtle upgrades making it a very usable car. The engine was rebuilt in 2015. The block honed, new pistons, overhauled oil pump, inlet valves, exhaust valves and a crank regrind, at this time was also converted to run on unleaded fuel at a cost of just under £2000. It has had a new radiator manufactured and also a new fuel tank fitted, the cost of these £1200. An SU carburettor and electric fuel pump are welcome additions. Now converted to 12V the car starts on the button and is easy to drive and performed very well on our test drive. The history folder contains lots of bills and invoices dating back to the sixties and some lovely original handbooks and a very large maintenance wall chart. The car still has its original registration number, however this is fully transferable and has a significant value on its own. The condition speaks for itself, with a very solid chassis, excellent upholstery and bright paintwork. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit and credit cards accepted. Part exchange considered. Finance arranged. Free U.K mainland delivery. Please contact us for any further information.
