1972 Triumph 1500. French Blue with grey trim. This is the rare front wheel drive model that was only produced for three years, 1970-73. This particular car was supplied new to Mr P. Page on the 6th November 1972 by H. V. Eyles & Son, Standard / Triumph dealers in Abingdon. The car comes complete with a huge history file which contains the original Invoice for the car when new and shows an on the road cost of £1191.00. Also included in the file the original Passport to Service supplied new with the car. This super Triumph has covered just 57,000 miles from new and we have a large amount of old mots dating back many years to back this up. Also on file lots of bills and invoices showing works carried out over the years. This 1500 presents very well and has been well maintained over the years and runs and drives very well. The paintwork and interior are in good order and has only a couple of very small marks. The chassis is very solid with no evidence of corrosion and the mot history makes for good reading. Although now tax and mot exempt the car has an mot until 20th January 2022 with no advisories and has just had a complete stainless steel exhaust fitted and three brand new tyres due to some perishing.
