1959 Rover 105 P4 Saloon. Manual / Overdrive. Factory black with red leather upholstery. Rover 105 the one to have with its silky smooth 2.6 straight six engine mated to a four speed manual gearbox with overdrive and when parked at traffic lights the engine is so quiet you think it has stopped. Delivered new to Grange Motors, Grange over Sands, Lancashire on the 15th January 1959 who soon sold it on the 26th January to E Denson & Co to use as a company vehicle. The next owner was Mr Taylor in 1966 who retained the car until 1985 when purchased by a Mr Cope. The car was re‑registered in the UK in 1980 following a period overseas. It comes with the original buff log book, a file of invoices dating from 2009 to 2017, MoT history dating from 2008 to 2012 and tax discs from the 2000's.The exterior paintwork is complimented by good bright work and still displays the original chrome hub caps. The interior really is lovely with red leather seats that have a wonderful patina, excellent door cards and good carpets, all of the original switch gear is still operational and the wood veneer is not faded or cracked, even the original 1950's tool kit is still in place. The panel gaps are correct and true and the doors still open and close just as they should and the engine bay very tidy. Being Tax exempt now, running costs are kept to a minimum.
