1971 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller. Almond Green with light green upholstery. This lovely Traveller was first registered on 1st January 1971 to Mr Gittins of Wolverhampton, and according to the log book he kept the car until 2018, some 47 years making this only a 2 owner car from new. The car was subject to refurbishment during 2015/16 and we have on file invoices for over £6300 for works carried out, this includes fresh paintwork, new chrome bumpers and overiders, new carpet set, flat woodwork and re-varnish, acid dip wheels and refurb and fit new rear wings. The car has also has a brake servo fitted making the braking system far more efficient. The Traveller starts on the button and drives just as it should, the 1098cc engine pulls very well and the gearbox and clutch both operating correctly. Although the car is now MOT exempt a current MOT runs until November 2020 giving peace of mind. There are no signs of corrosion with a solid chassis and no rust or rot. The paintwork is very good and the wood frame showing no undue signs of decay. The original drivers handbook is still with the car and copies of both owners log books.
