1964 Morris Minor Convertible 1098cc. This genuine factory built Morris Minor 1000 Convertible finished in Trafalgar blue with Shadow blue interior & black Mohair hood has been with its last owner for 17 years who garaged the car using it only for local dry runs & covered only 5000 miles. The Morris still retaining its original registration number when new in 1964. It was fully restored a number of years ago to very high standard when it was fitted with an unleaded reconditioned engine, four intertia reel seat belts and a new 'Mohair' hood, carpets & chrome. It retains this very high standard to date having been very well maintained including a recent brake overhall including brake drums, wheel cylinders, flexi brake hoses, brake linings, stainless steel exhaust & tyres etc. Although tax & Mot exempt it has an MOT through to November 2020 with no advisories. The paintwork is superb with a fantastic finish along with an excellent interior, hood & frame. The underside is exceptional retaining perfect floor pans & jacking points etc & has been Waxoyl protected. We have a history file containing the original green log book showing the original chassis & registration number, previous Mot's, tax discs, receipts & restoration photographs. The car drives very well indeed with a really tight feel to it unlike many & has covered only 20,000 miles since restoration.
