1968 MGC GT Manual Overdrive. British Racing Green with black leather upholstery and white piping. A lovely desirable MGC that has been very well cared for over the years. Engine and gearbox removed to replace gearbox oil seals and change sump gasket. Cylinder head removed and valves lapped. Head has hardened valve inserts. Engine detailed before reinstallation. Reconditioned rear shock absorbers. The car starts on the button and has excellent oil pressure, it performed very well on test drive, the strong engine pulling well married to a quiet and smooth gearbox with working overdrive. We have a very large history file with the car which includes a large amount of bills, invoices and old mot certificates going back many years. Being built for only one year the MGC is a rare car and with its big 6 cylinder engine is a great drivers car. Included in the history file is a copy of Classic Car Weekly with this MGC being the cover car with a full length feature inside. The paintwork is still very bright and has just been treated to a ceramic coating which will give it many years protection and the leather upholstery showing minimal wear throughout. The chassis is very solid and the MOT history shows no sign of any corrosion on the car. Although now tax and mot exempt a fresh mot will be applied for your own peace of mind.
