1969 MGC GT Manual / Overdrive. Absolutely stunning car, beautifully restored with superb upgrades and modifications. 4 speed manual with overdrive with only 1900 miles covered since rebuild.
The car has undergone a full strip down to a bare shell. It was then treated to a £3000 respray in MG Tartan red and the underside was meticulously treated with rust preventative with great attention to detail.
The engine is stage 3 tuned. Lightened and balanced with fast road cam and triple SU carburettors. Electronic ignition and uprated radiator along with twin electric cooling fans. It uses the MG Owners Club high performance big bore exhaust system. It also has an uprated oil filter system. The original gearbox and diff were rebuilt during the restoration and the overdrive works perfectly. All the suspension is new using parabolic rear springs and Gaz adjustable shocks all round. Everything is Polybushed. Brakes are all new and have greenstuff front brake pads. All electrics are new including full new fabric wrapped loom. The wheels are new 72 spoke chrome wires with recent new tyres. The interior is all new including dash, carpets and seats. A modern DAB radio is fitted and has USB and power socket hidden in the glove box. Uprated heater matrix and fan. All chrome is new apart from front window quarter lights and screen frame. The MGC comes complete with a huge history file that contains £12000 worth of parts receiptsalone, MGOC heritage certificate and MOT through until 27th September 2019. The car had just completed a 800 mile round trip to Laon Historique and behaved impeccably. This MG has been a labour of love for the last owner and absolutely no expense has been spared, everything was either rebuilt or replaced and is a real credit to him. This is without doubt the best MGC we have had and are very proud to offer the car. The car drives absolutely superbly and is very well sorted.
