This stunning V8 Roadster has been with its last lady owner for 25 years and is styled on the famous Ken Costello MG’s of the 1970’s. The car was treated to a full restoration during lockdown by Botreva Classics with invoices and photographs in the history file detailing the work, the cost just shy of £27,000. We cannot say whether this car was originally built by Ken Costello or not but we do have invoices from The V8 Conversion Company dating back many years which was indeed Costello’s business. The mileage has been warranted to us at 59,000 by the last owner and obviously everything has been recently rebuilt as well. It is not just the engine which makes this car special, it has the flared wheel arches, bubble shape bonnet and fully refurbished Wolfrace wheels. The car is also fitted with a five speed gearbox and has electric power steering which transforms the drive of the car. As you can imagine, a car that has recently had so much money lavished upon it wants for nothing and is in outstanding condition, the bodywork is factory fresh and the chrome work all new. The upholstery in excellent condition, the seats re trimmed with new foams and springs fitted. On the road this car is amazing, starting with the V8 roar mated to the 5 speed box it is a real drivers car and what a head turner.
