1977 MGB Roadster Manual / Overdrive. Chartreuse Yellow with Black leather upholstery and black hood. Supplied new by Mann Egerton & Co Ltd of North Finchley to Mr Frederick Luther of Potters Bar on 1st August 1977. This super MGB Roadster was subject to a full restoration in 1991 and is still in lovely condition today. Some of the work carried out included four piece sills on both sides, Steelcraft front wings, Leyland original complete doors, Steelcraft rear half wings, new fuel tank, bare metal re-spray. All of the welding required for the new panels was carried out by MG Specialists MGB Hive of Wisbeech. We also have photographs on file of the car during restoration. The MGB also has also been subject to a chrome bumper conversion and the fitting of wire wheels. A stainless steel exhaust was also fitted along with a complete re-trim in black leather. In 2015 a new Ivor Seale unleaded engine was fitted at a cost of £2500. The MG comes complete with a large history folder containing lots of bills, invoices and old mot's as well as a DVLA print out of all the previous owners and the original log book issued when the car was new. On test drive the car performed just as it should without fault, the engine very strong and a smooth gearbox with working overdrive.
