1975 MG BGT Manual / Overdrive. Citroen Yellow with Black cloth upholstery. This great looking MG has been with its last owner for 9 years and has covered just 87,000 miles from new. During this time lots of upgrades have been carried out as well as routine maintenance which is all recorded in the cars large history file. Work carried out includes the following: A brand new set of 15” Minilite style alloy wheels and tyres having covered less than 100 miles since fitted. New door cards were fitted by the MG Owners Club workshop and the seats reupholstered appropriately 18 months ago. It has a new oil pressure gauge and all the switches and the buttons have been replaced all using MGOC parts. A new MGOC leather sports steering wheel. Various chrome exterior parts have been replaced including mirrors, door handles, vents, wiper arms and headlight surrounds and new carpets fitted. The headlining is still tight and in good condition. New seatbelts and again fitted and supplied by the MG owners club. Stainless steel exhaust system. Mechanically the car is very strong with excellent oil pressure and working overdrive in 3rd and 4th gears. Again lots more parts fitted to include a new fuel tank and electric pump. It has had a front brake upgrade with the fitment of cross drilled vented discs and pads. A new unleaded cylinder head has been installed along with electronic ignition and a MG polished aluminium rocker cover. Other things to note are a new heater matrix and upgraded ignition coil. Overall a very smart and well sorted MGB which is just waiting to be enjoyed in new hands. Although now tax and mot exempt a fresh mot will be applied upon sale for your own peace of mind.
