This smart MGB GT was subject to a full nut and bolt restoration in the 90’s by Classic Wheel Restorations of Colchester. This was a no expense spared re-build to concours standard and the total cost was £17,900 with the invoice in the history folder. The car is still very presentable today with a solid chassis and strong body showing just a couple of small age related marks. The last keeper has enjoyed the car for the last four years and during this time has added some subtle upgrades which improve the car, these include a Revotec electric fan with override, Stellalux LED headlamp upgrade, Clearview heated rear window Hi Torque starter motor, upgraded 4 speaker stereo and two speed heater motor upgrade. The car also has electronic ignition fitted and telescopic rear shock absorbers. A Moto Lita steering wheel, Webasto sunroof and Minilite style wheels complete the look of this 70’s GT. The recorded mileage of 66,000 is believed to be correct but we cannot guarantee this due to the age.
