1978 MGB GT Manual Overdrive. Snapdragon yellow with black yellow upholstery. Supplied by The Bromley Motor Works (Kent) on 18th February 1978 to Mr Kennedy of Bromley. This MGB has been well cared for over the years and some years ago was treated to a full restoration by White Horse Sports Cars of Wantage, some of the major work carried out included new front wings, new doors, new inner and outer sills both sides, new front valance, left and right castle sections, left and right jacking points and strengtheners and inner sill strengtheners, left and right top baffles. All the invoices for this work are in the history folder. More recently other work carried out has been unleaded cylinder head, electric fan, new alternator and starter motor and rear shock absorbers. A full leather interior has also been fitted which is a lovely upgrade. The car has been with its last owners for 5 years and it is a credit to them in the condition it has been kept. The door shuts and panel gaps are all very good and the body very straight. The chassis is very solid with no sign of any corrosion. The car drives just as you would expect with a strong engine, good oil pressure and a smooth gearbox with working overdrive. The large history folder present with the car contains bills, invoices and old mot certificates as well as the all important original Passport to Service as well as the rust proofing certificate and dealer brochure. Although now tax and mot exempt a fresh mot will be applied upon sale for your own peace of mind. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit and credit cards accepted.
