1975 MGB GT V8 Manual / Overdrive. Damask Red with Saddle Leather upholstery. This very rare rubber bumper factory V8 has been cherished over the years and has covered just 86,000 miles from new. The condition of the car is superb and it has been clearly well preserved. The underside is original and in great condition with no signs of any welding. The brake lines, rear shock absorbers, brake and clutch master cylinders have all been replaced in recent years and the suspension poly bushed. The body of the car is also in lovely condition as shown in the photographs. The shut lines and gaps are also very good and representative of a car that has been well cared for.. The leather interior is in superb condition and suits the car well. The dashboard and instruments are also in great order. A huge history file contains bills, invoices and old mot's going back many years to 1980 confirm the mileage and how well this car has been looked after. It has the Edelbrock carb conversion with an Offenhauser inlet manifold, this allows the air filter room under the bonnet, the invoice on file for the parts for this conversion over £1800. The original carburettor and inlet manifold and filters are also present and will come with the car. The ignition system has been completely replaced form the distributor to the spark plugs including the power module with a RPI system. With this upgraded system the car drives extremely well and very happy and able in modern traffic, mated to the manual gearbox with working overdrive. Stainless steel exhaust system fitted and original factory alloy wheels in excellent condition with good tyres. Most recently a new alternator has been fitted as well as a new oil filter housing with braided hoses. Absolutely any inspection welcome. All major debit and credit cards accepted.
