1956 Ford Pop 1172cc. Black with red upholstery. This charming Ford Popular has been in storage since 2017 and just arrived with us. The car has been well looked after and we have just fitted a new battery and drained the fuel and it is now running and driving well with a very sweet engine. A very solid car that has always been inside so is not suffering the usual rust and corrosion. The interior has clearly been refurbished at some point not so long ago as it is in lovely condition. The body is very straight although the paintwork is suffering with micro blistering on various panels. A history file accompanies the Pop which contains some bills, invoices and old mot certificates dating back many years. This car will require a certain amount of recommissioning as it has not been used for six years but will be fairly simple to carry out. It can then be used as is or taken to the next level with a little attention to the paintwork. The alternative to this is convert it to a Hot Rod as it is a three door model. Whatever you decide it is definitely a worthwhile project. As it is tax and mot exempt the cost of motoring is almost zero, just some petrol and classic insurance required.
