1965 Daimler V8 250 Automatic. British Racing Green with Barley Leather upholstery. The accompanying Heritage Certificate shows that after being dispatched from the factory on 29th December 1964 this Daimler V8 250 was originally exported as a new vehicle to Brisbane Australia during 1965, before eventually being sold and shipped to New Zealand in 2006 where it received a total nut and bolt restoration. It was repatriated by its one and only U.K owner in 2017, registered here in August of that year with all duties and taxes paid. No expense has been spared since its arrival and the car has been predominately looked after by a well known Jaguar specialist. Over the last 1,000 miles some of the work includes new fuel pump, new shock absorbers, new engine and gearbox mountings, suspension wishbone bushes, as well as routine servicing with all invoices on file. The large history file also containing a large amount of bills and invoices dating back many years as well as photographs of the restoration. There's also a list of itemised maintenance carried out from 1990 to 2015. The car now displays 83,000 miles and presents beautifully. The paintwork displays a lovely lustre and the leather unmarked. The chrome work is equally as good and in the sunlight really sets the car off. Mechanically the car is just as impressive, it starts on the button, has the correct oil pressure and a smooth changing automatic gearbox. The huge benefit is that the car has power steering and makes it a joy to drive and easily keeps up with modern traffic. Although now tax and mot exempt a fresh mot will be applied upon sale for your own peace of mind.
