1965 Austin-Healey 3000 MkIII BJ8. Old English White with Black Ambla upholstery and a black hood. This Healey BJ8 Phase, which means, amongst other things, that it was the best-selling version blessed with the high output 150bhp version of the 3,000cc straight six engine and – handy this - power-assisted bakes. The Heritage Certificate for the car also notes that this one came with wire wheels, adjustable steering column, laminated windscreen and a heater. This lovely Healey returned to this country in 1995 and was converted to right-hand-drive shortly afterwards. The previous owner bought the car in 2006 and has had it repainted in Old English White. The car is still very original and benefits from electronic ignition and a side-exit exhaust system. The car performed very well on the test drive with a strong engine, smooth gearbox and working overdrive.
