DESCRIPTION

1937 Austin Seven Ruby. Blue with black wings and blue upholstery. Acquired originally by a Mr. Butting of Nottingham on the 17th September 1937, the car remained in his possession for some time before passing to Mr. Parsons of Lewis, West Sussex. The Austin then passed to it last keeper who purchased the car in September 2013 and has owned it since. The history includes some old MoT test certificates, a spares catalogue and an original workshop manual. With the last keeper for seven years this charming Austin has been lovingly refurbished over this time. The history file contains a lovely notebook detailing all of the expenditure on the car. Also photographs of the Austin showing before, after and during the works that were carried out. The car was subject to a bare metal repaint in 2016 and all of the wheels were shot blasted and powder coated at this time. The interior has been re-trimmed in the correct leatherette with the addition of a new headlining and a new carpet set. The exhaust manifold was replaced along with a new starter motor. The six volt electrics benefit from a new battery and the tyres were replaced and the car has covered very little mileage since. It comes as little surprise that these cheeky pre-war Austins are so popular. Running and driving well this baby Austin is ready to be enjoyed by its new custodians. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit and credit cards accepted. Part exchange considered. Finance arranged. Free U.K mainland delivery.
