1963 Austin Mini 850 MK I. Red with a white roof and red upholstery. Matching numbers car. Bare shell restoration in 2015 with a full photographic record. Rebuilt to its original specification which includes the original engine which was fully rebuilt. The mini still retains its wand gear-lever and floor start. Everything was either repaired, rebuilt or replaced. The shell was take back to bare metal and all panel work replaced as necessary, the car was then totally repainted including the underside which is body coloured and protected with waxoyl. Halogen headlamps have also been fitted as a safety upograde. We have been told that the mileage of 38,000 is correct but cannot guarantee this due to the Mini being 57 years old. Also with the car is a nice history folder containing lots of bills, invoices and old mot certificates including the engine rebuild. Out on the road the car performed very well as you would expect and is a real head turner gaining many admiring glances. Now mot and tax exempt this is a car that can be enjoyed with very little expense although we will apply a fresh mot upon sale for your own peace of mind.
