An outstanding car that received a complete nut and bolt rebuild in 1990 by Triumph Restorations and everything was rebuilt, repaired or replaced, we have an independent report on file confirming this. Since then it has had thousands lavished upon it to keep it in tip top condition with absolutely no expense spared. One fantastic upgrade in 2016 was the fitting of power steering which transforms the car and gives a fantastic driving experience, at the same time the car was taken to another level and the following improvements were made, an unleaded cylinder head fitted, spax shock absorbers, complete stainless exhaust system, polyurethane bushes front and rear, 13 row oil cooler and spin on conversion, kenlowe fan, 6 into 2 stainless manifold and the clutch release bearing uprated. All of this work is recorded in a fantastic history file which accompanies the car. The car can only be described as beautiful, the paintwork immaculate and the interior showing minimal wear, the wooden dashboard free from any cracking and the chrome work very bright and unpitted. When restored the car had covered just 63,000 miles and a new speedo was fitted during the work, the car has now covered 8,000 miles giving the car a total mileage of just 71,000 which is documented although the car has literally covered 8,000 miles since everything was replaced. On the road the car goes just as well as it looks with the correct oil pressure and working overdrive and the stainless exhaust giving the car a very pleasing sound. Chrome wire wheels with matching tyres and a Moto Lita steering wheel complete the look of this TR and it wants for nothing.
