This beautiful low mileage Rover affectionately known as Craig has had just three previous owners during its life and covered just 48,000 miles. Supplied new by Cavendish Motors in April 1969 with the original sales invoice still in the history folder and correspondence between the customer and supplying dealer. Invoices for servicing and repairs dating back to the early seventies are accompanied by a huge amount of old mot certificates back to 1973 which guarantee the extremely low mileage. Also present with the car is the original plastic wallet containing all of the original handbooks, RAC membership, Clearalex windscreen cleaner and plastic licence holder. The Heritage certificate with the car confirms matching numbers and original colours. The first owner kept the car from new until 2001, before selling the car to the second owner with a copy of the advert still on file, the car changed hands and went into a private collection where it remained until 2017 before joining the latest keeper.
