DESCRIPTION

1964 Morris Mini Minor MK I. Fiesta Yellow with white roof and tan leather upholstory. Early 850 with floor starter and wand gear lever. This lovely 1963 Morris Mini-Minor 850 returned from New Zealand in 2017 where it had been completely refurbished and had been freshly painted in the 1963 Mini-Cooper colours of Fiesta Yellow with an Old English White roof. The condition of the car was so good when it was first purchased, that the decision was taken to really 'push the boat out' when it came to the refurb. The seats were totally rebuilt and then covered in a Cascia 'Spinneybeck' hide, as were the rear door cards and front door linings. Spinneybeck is the worlds leading supplier of full grain, aniline dyed Italian upholstery leather and hugely expensive, the upholstery reputed to have cost £10,000 alone. The Black carpet was also very expensive and looks like it could possibly be Cashmere. The 1963 switch panel and the floor-mounted start button have been retained, but a Cooper binnacle has been fitted and the font parcel shelf boxed in. All in all, a fabulous quality interior. The 850cc engine bursts into life upon asking and a sports exhaust gives a lovely note as well driving just as you would expect a car of this standard to. Sitting on four-stud Rose Petal wheels with Yokohama tyres converted to front disc brakes Externally it has been fitted with Mini-Cooper bumpers. a flip top fuel filler, after-market wing mirrors on alloy brackets, leather bonnet-straps, and clear indicator lenses. This little mini is in excellent condition all round. A stunning eye-catcher and would sit proudly in any collector's garage or grace any showground. No expense has been spared and this Mini and it shows. To purchase a MK I Mini and build to this standard would cost thousands more than this car and probably take many many months also. Although now tax and mot exempt a fresh mot will be applied upon sale for your own peace of mind. Absolutely any inspection welcome. All major debit and credit cards accepted. Part exchange considered. Finance arranged. Free U.K mainland delivery. Please contact us for any further information.
