1961 Jaguar MK II 4.2 Five Speed Manual. British Racing Green with Saddle leather upholstery. This special Jaguar Mk.II is the former property of the late Jeff Uren, retired BSCC driver famed for his engineering and tuning skills which led to his renowned work with the Ford Cortina Mk.II Savage and Ford Capri Stampede which remain a hit with Ford buffs to this day. He bought this car in Chignell, Bedfordshire in January 2000 after the then-owner had invested many ££’s and close to two years having the car restored by Flying Cat Engineering of Royston, Herts. There is photographic record of the extent of the restoration, but it included cutting-out and repairing and welding new sections, front cross member, crow’s feet, stays, front valance, sills, floor sections, rear wheel arches, doors, rear valance, boot lid, spring hangers, inner wheel arches and splash panels, and also to strip, prepare and respray the car in original colour British Racing Green. All this work took from April 1996 to the finishing touch headlining in 1998. From the Spring of 2000 after owning the car for just a handful of months, Jeff started to identify problems with the original 3.4 engine. It was repo..
1961 Daimler Dart SP250. British Racing Green with Tan leather upholstery and beige soft top. The SP250 was launched as the Daimler Dart in April 1959 at the New York Motor Show, Chrysler, whose Dodge division owned the trademark for the "Dart" model name, ordered Daimler to change the name under threat of legal action. With little time to come up with a new name, Daimler used the project number, SP250, as the model number. SP250s were used by the British Metropolitan Police in London. The car is one of 26 examples bought by the Metropolitan Police between 1961 and 1964 to use as high-speed pursuit vehicles. The flying Darts, which could reach 125mph, were based at special Traffic Garages throughout London and proved to be a major deterrent against the scourge of speeding motorcyclists going ‘ton up’. These were used by the Traffic Department to catch up with speeders, especially café racers. The police cars used the Borg-Warner Model 8 three-speed automatic, which the Metropolitan Police found to be better for town work and high-speed chases, and was also found to be more economical, avoiding the clutch wear that a manual car would develop with usage between 18 and 24 hours a..

1973 MGB Roadster. Tartan Red with Black Leather Piped with White. 1967 saw a variety of factory upgrades to the MGB sufficient to define what is known now as the MK II MGB model. These included - Synchromesh on all 4 gears along with revised ratios, a new rear axle, an alternator replaced the old dynamo along with a change to a negative earth system and standardised reclining seats (as seen on this example) Originally supplied to California (hence the three windscreen wipers) where it remained for some 37 years before being purchased by a Danish collector (believed to be a Mr J Buech) in 2010. Soon afterwards he sent the vehicle to Byrne Motor Trust (BMT) a renowned restoration workshop. BMT carried out what can only be described as a 'nut and bolt' restoration spanning over the next 2 years, billing some 2,809 hours of labour, and extensive new parts list supplied by reputable UK dealers. The result - a lovingly renewed classic MGB that would satisfy any inspection. In 2014 upon completion of its restoration this MGB was returned to Denmark where it stayed in a private museum until being purchased by DD Classics of London in 2015. The car has since enjoyed light use including ent..

Having covered just 83,000 miles which is believed correct due to a large number of mot certificates dating back many many years. 1963 Triumph Spitfire Four MK I 1147cc. Signal Red with Black Ambla upholstery and black soft top. This absolutely amazing rare early MK I Spitfire was first registered on 5th July 1963 and is a right hand drive U.K home market car. The car spent much of its life in and around the London area before being parked up for many years. The car was then rescued and what can only be described as the ultimate nut and bolt restoration began. Absolutely no stone was left unturned and no expense spared on the rebuild as you can see in the photographs, turning it to a concours car. A fantastic hardback book was produced in conjunction with the rebuild which recorded the whole process in words and pictures and accompanies the car. The original green log book is still present and shows that the Triumph still has its original registration number of RTS 749. The car has come to us from a well known prolific collector who has displayed the car in his own private garage. It runs and drives just as it did 60 years ago and is ready to show or park in your private collection. It has covered just 12 miles since the incredible rebuild and is in outstanding condition and in our opinion must be one of the ..
1972 Mercedes Benz 250 Coupe. Beige Grey Metallic (728) with black MB tex upholstery. Mercedes introduced a coupé variant of the W114 in 1969, featuring a longer boot lid and available with either a 2.5 or 2.8 litre six-cylinder engine. While a classic and understated design these generally cost less than the W113-based 280 SL model that ran until 1971, and its successor, the 3.5 or 4.5 litre V8 Mercedes SL R107/C107 (1971–1989) roadster and coupé. While a 'hard-top' unlike the fully convertible SL, the pillarless design allowed all the windows to be lowered completely for open air motoring. This stunning pillarless coupe arrived in the U.K during 2021 after spending its life in the sunshine of California. It presents very well and exudes style and elegance. A very well specced car with power steering, electric windows and an electric sunroof, all options that were very rare in 1972. The odometer reads 47,000 miles which the previous keeper believes to be correct but we are unable to guarantee this due to the age. The paintwork has a lovely lustre and the interior upholstery shows minimal wear. Mechanically the car drives as it should with excellent oil pressure and a strong en..
1987 BMW 525e Lux Automatic E28. Saturn Blue with Pearl Beige leather. A very rare and desirable car that you don’t see very often, a BMW 525 E Lux Automatic, if you know what this car is, you will understand how rare it is, this was the 2.7 cc 6 cylinder engine that produced 129 bhp with the Motronic fuel injection that was meant to make it more economical than the BMW 525i, hence the “E” label, just think how forward thinking BMW was back in the 1980’s. Supplied new on 1st March 1987 by Barons BMW of Farnborough and still wearing its original dealer number plates and rear window sticker. A very original car that was with its first owner until 1991 and then its second owner and has remained in the same family ever since some 33 years. Displaying just 82,000 miles from new and with MOT certificates dating back to the very first one in 1987 the low mileage can be warranted correct. A car that has been very well maintained and covered minimal mileage over the years it is still a joy to drive and could form part of any collection or even be a daily driver, the six cylinder engine, auto gearbox and power steering making it effortless on the road. A totally unmolested car that s..

2005 Jaguar XK8 4.2 Coupe Automatic. Midnight Black metallic with Dove Grey leather upholstery and a Grey Birdseye Maple dashboard. This lovely Jaguar was one of the last of this model produced and has a lovely specification to include Type R sports seats, Brembo brakes and performance discs, 20” Detroit split rim BBS alloy wheels and stainless steel embellishments. The Jaguar XK series was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show on 5th March 1996. The first generation of the series, the XK8, replaced the XJS and was available as a coupé and convertible. The XK8 was the first eight-cylinder vehicle produced since the Daimler 250. This face-lift example of the popular X100 series XK8 Coupe is finished beautifully. Under that shapely nose we find the much-improved (over the earlier 4.0 engine) 4.2 litre AJ34 V8 engine which develops 300bhp and a useful 420NM of torque driving the rear wheels via six-speed ZF 6HP26 automatic transmission with Sport mode. Inside the cockpit, we find the traditional warmth of the XK8, which was likened by Clarkson at launch to “the inside of Blenheim Palace” with electrically adjustable leather seats featuring driver memory, electric lumbar adjustmen..
2006 BMW R 1200 S. Midnight Black. This stunning motorcycle has been with its last owner from 2 months old and has covered just 6,000 miles from new. It has been cherished and loved and still presents as it did when new some 18 years ago. Supplied new by BMW on 12th May 2006 to Mr Seward who only kept the bike for 2 months before a change in circumstances when SPC BMW called the current owner who was looking for this exact bike, he purchased it immediately and has owned it ever since. He used the bike sparingly and more recently the bike has covered minimal mileage. Compared to the BMW R1100S which it succeeded, the R1200S was 13 kg lighter, and (with a compression ratio raised from it was 25% more powerful with a "hexhead" motor rated at 122 horsepower. Much of the weight saving was down to a new trellis-type frame which replaced the massive alloy frame of the R1100S. The R1200S thus had superior handling, improved braking, higher power output, greater ground clearance, and sport ergonomics. Although the instrumentation was updated, the bike retained the unconventional BMW-system indicator switches. Now available and looking for a new adventure. A fresh mot will be applied upon sa..
